Hypnotherapy Explained
Why I became a hypnotherapist
Many years ago, hypnotherapy helped me with sea-sickness. I didn’t think it could possibly work, but it absolutely did. Some time later, I trained as a hypnotherapist and finally found my vocation. I felt that, if hypnotherapy could help with something as physical as sea-sickness, what else might it be able to do? And I’ve been amazed ever since by the power of the mind.
What hypnotherapy can help with (so many different things)
Hypnotherapy can help with so many problems and concerns, including quitting smoking (in 1 session – oh yes), chronic pain, anxiety, fears and phobias, traumatic stress, unwanted habits, and poor sleep. I am trained in both traditional deep trance hypnosis, and a more interactive hypnosis where you’re aware and awake throughout. Both are equally effective, and both work wonderfully well online. You and I will both know, from the initial free consultation, which method will work best for you and what you want. And if I feel that neither of my methods are quite right for you, I will tell you, before you spend any time or money with me.
Qualifications
Fully trained and insured, I am a registered member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (MHS) and the Complementary Medical Association (MCMA). I am a CONTROL Practitioner (CTRLPrac), and a member of the CONTROL Academy, as well as a BLAST Technique Practitioner (BLAST® Prac).
